It's been a sad day, only made light by the thought Fat Sam is to blame for the ills of England. Thanks for that! <laugh>

I just wonder whether he will just pack it in. It struck me after the England debacle, where he made a right **** of himself, with players now does he have the same respect he had before? It wouldn't surprise me he has found out that in the dressing room he is a bit of a figure fun.

After beating Chelsea away Arsenal at home and Liverpool away I really don't think you can level the players aren't up for it for him.
Without the injuries to his cb's they'd have accumulated a lot more points.

I get what you're saying, but it depends on their level, their previous and their ambition. Sam still has much professional respect, he is ultra confident and, when up for it, a force of nature. Everything Moyes, at the moment, isn't. He's my age but fatter, the **** him. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Allardyce is a mate of Bruce's, he'll know what's gone on and wouldn't be remotely interested in joining the circus.

And? We're talking about him rejoining Sunderland, I think. Maybe I'd better check with, Dennis and Kemps ...

Are we specifically interested in ugly managers? Allardyce, McLaren, Moyes.

Is there a pattern emerging here?

    Are we pining Steve Bruce?

sam will think he should be getting a crack at the Southampton job or similar, to be fair he's more than proved himself in the pl. Regardless of why he got sacked he was given the England job not to long back

Aren't Sunderland heavily in debt . Financially would have expected Palace to give him more cash than Sunderland .

According to Sky Sam doesn't want another job, he wants to go traveling with his family etc while his health still allows him

It's actually a statement from Sam, he's quitting football

Hes had a decent career and mostly done the job that was asked of him , he reminds me of Neil Warnock -unpopular but over the years proven themselves when called upon and mostly left clubs in better States then when they arrive .

Don't blame him, had a major health scare years ago and probably should have called it quits then ..

    He is/was a fantastic manager.

However, I suppose days like today emphasise how important it is to spend time with your family while you can.

    Fair play to him.
