This is it, the the annual culmination of the season played by London's two leviathan clubs at Wembley. Arsenal who have won this magnificent cup 12 times and Chelsea have won it 7 times. Our head to head confrontations in this event stand at one a piece with Arsenal winning the Cardiff version 2-0 in 2002 with Chelsea winning at Wembley 2-1 in 2010. This fixture now represents a fulcrum for Arsenal in which if they are successful they can reverse the terrible season they have endured (by their standards). And could have the pleasure of although finishing behind their north London neighbours for the first time in premiership history could technically have the better season finishing up with a trophy. Chelsea, who became premiership champions by a whopping 7 point margin last Sunday now seek to win their second domestic double which if successful will be only one behind the Arsenal. Arsenal face a defensive crisis going into Saturday's FA Cup final against Chelsea, with Shkodran Mustafi doubtful with a suspected concussion and Laurent Koscielny is suspended for the Wembley final while Gabriel left Sunday's game on a stretcher. Chelsea have no significant injury problems and Conte (manager of the year) is expected to field his strongest side that has served him so well this season. All in all it should be a good game against two good footballing sides. Although Chelsea have the better form going into this final London derbies can and often do throw up unexpected results i.e. West Ham. So in parting I wish all my Arsenal friends good luck (but not too much). No wumming please.
It's ok mate I understand your disappointment of being dry humped in the semi's but you can now sit back and no doubt cheer on Chelsea.
Going to be a tough game for us. It already was going to be tough with Chelsea in the form that they are, but with our horrendous injury list, that job has just been made much harder. We've got a chance of course, it's one game and anything can happen. But I think we'll need at the top of our game and for a few Chelsea players to have an off day to realistically have a chance.
i'm guessing that "dry humping" is the furthest you've ever got since you use the expression ad nauseum. I'd like to see Arsenal win if it means Wenger keeps his job.
You couldn't call it anything else really but I mainly use it because it pisses off people with amoeba brains....sorry if I upset you.
Really Anyway back on topic I suspect you'll be rooting for Chelsea to win like all the other bitters?
I already answered that one. If Wenger staying in the job is dependent on the nomads winning the cup then i'd have to go with them
