Brown will be at centre back though, not sure how often he'll need to deal with Barton.

I think we'll probably play 2 up front (Ba and Shola), we played that formation for the majority against Arsenal and derby day does something funny to Shola. Pushing to have a natural LB and new striker in for the game as well, but hope mini Ameobi comes on as well and see if the mackem destroyer DNA is really there <monster>

I actually think this would be a good game to move Ricco to left mid, i don't rate Sipmpson, think Ricco could give him a tough afternoon.

Obertan played off the striker and on the wing at the weekend, cant be sure where we want him yet. Will give any full back a tough game though.

Totally don't understand the need of many of our 'fans' to scapegoat a player, happens season in and season out. No one can convince me that Richardson goes out on the pitch to do anything other than his very best for the team. If he is played out of position is that his fault? How do you think Mignolet would do wide left? I exagerate to the make point.

Secondly I've seen more than enough Derby's to know that it is not about who wants it the most on the day. That has been our downfall in too many of these games, we over hype them and then the players just loose the plot and don't perform. Time for cool heads and a clear game plan. Let the fans get excited not the players, time for them to let go is once the 3 points are bagged.

Thats the problem I bet most people only watched the highlights and join the band wagon. He played alright most of the game but made an almost identical mistake to Ferdinand vs Arsenal last year. He was also at fault for the goal, but lets face it, its stupid to have the defender on a yellow marking their most dangerous player. He is going to be obviously cautious.

I would keep things the same, we played well, we don't want to rush Oshea back unless he is 110%. I do like BB's idea of playing Richardson on the wing he could give them problems there. We have subs so if its not working Oshea could come off the bench. Richardson is quite a hard player so will give Barton as good as he gets on that side so he might be the right man for LB at the weekend.
