You forgot to add plastic club and racist fans to complete the set. <wah>

Isn't that what you gave Moyes jip for? years of overachievement but ultimately winning nothing (needles to say his net spend didn't get mentioned)

To be fair, I'd of given Zlatan the utd player or the year.
He will be a miss tomorrow, even at 35 and not as mobile, he is a big game player.

You just had a #meltdown where you attacked your own fans

Anyway Moyes, like Mourinho, has a #smallclubmentality where you beg for a point against big teams

Klopp has owned the big teams, and the only struggle has been consistency against the lower teams, which was a direct result of a smaller squad combined with injuries

The smaller squad was a result of no European football, which Klopp has now succeeded in fixing

I think we can all recognise that the team has made progress and is better than it was a year ago.

I would classify the season as a welcome improvement as we have achieved the minimum objective set at the start and a good progress towards an established regular CL team but I wouldn't particularly call this a successful season.

We should have taken the cups more seriously but finishing 4th has to be seen as a successful season surely ....

that's not a meltdown. I said you forgot to add in the other usual jibes to get a reaction. As if i would attack my own fans :p

You're response was more of a meltdown (not saying you did as it's the typical astro response)

Come on behave. Only mid table clubs like Everton, Southampton (with due respect) could class a 4th place as success. We may have only had CL football once in the past 5-6 years but for a club of our stature and size, a play off for the CL throughout the season cannot and should not be viewed as success !

I can't believe any fan wouldn't say top 4 finish would be considered a successful season? Had we finished 5th you'd have a point. Mate your comment falls into the bracket of 'deluded' 'taking our rightful place' etc. etc. that rival fans throw at us ad infinitum.

Klopp after 0.5 years of PL experience and a -£7m net spend has beaten:
-the most expensive manager in the world (6 years PL experience) with the most expensive squad in the world including the most expensive player in the world and a £102m net spend
-the 3rd most expensive manager in the world (20 years PL experience - most experienced PL manager in the world) who had a £86m net spend

    You are #deluded #bitter #worried and #meltdown if that's not success <cheers>

You're living in the past when there was an actual "the top 4"

Now there is a top 6 (maybe 7 since Everton have #noexcuses now) and 6 doesn't fit into 4, meaning you have to outperform some of the best clubs in the world to get in now

5 managers have "beaten" him and so far only 1 of them has a trophy.

Success in comparison to the last few years. We haven't won anything in too long and during that period we've only got CL football once. So improving on one of those things can be seen as a success. Yes, we should be winning trophies for it to be a real success but small steps.

Top 4 and CL should help us attract better players which should help us compete for trophies better. Klopp needs to win something to be a real success but in the mean time, I think every fan would have taken 4th place given our performances over last few years where we've won nothing and finished outside CL places and even EL places!

I see that people are making a difference between success and real success !!!

I think some of us are talking about different things. Have we achieved the minimum we want from this season? YES. of course we have. Is it comething that we should be proud of and praise Klopp? of course yes.

Are we yet a successful team? What IBWT call REAL success? My contention is we are not there yet. What we have acheived this season is a significant milestone towrads that ultimate goal. When we challenge for the title or win it (like Leicester) yes, that would mean success.

My fear is that by calling a 4th place a success and a trophy (like wenger did) it becomes an end in itself. Let's acheive 4th and we'll be successful. What about the title? what about the CL? what about other cups?
