I'd have to agree ... if that is indeed the inference ...

... although I'd also go on to add that I think it is very naive for anyone to expect footballers to be 'good citizens' and role models for kids .. there are some exceptions of course, but obscene amounts of money in the hands of young men that are often not the most intelligent, be it down to educational failings in deprived backgrounds or just not being very bright, is a rather poisonous cocktail in terms of shaping their likely take on the world and attitudes towards race, creed, colour and women once they are let loose with sums of money that can buy just about anything.

Would just reiterate that there are exceptions ... <ok>

If you are still bothered about a football result from 5 years ago, you need to get a life

He put the full kit on <laugh>

I will accept that he was up there with the best though, for all of his ridiculous decisions off the pitch, he rarely put a foot wrong on it.

Being a member of the team they might not of got there without him so he was fully deserving of wearing his kit and joining in the celebrations.

Didn't he get sent off vs Barca at the Nou Camp?

They got to the final in spite of JT imo.

Probably for the best that he didn't play the final though, given his turnout in Moscow.

He did he chinned Sanchez and got caught :emoticon-0136-giggl but we were still better than Barca with 10 men but he played brilliantly throughout the competition especially against Napoli.

    Scholes did too. Top boy.

JT was clearly manager during your CL win, there's no way that gimp Di Matteo masterminded anything, you could tell Terry was calling the shots.

    He'll probably replace Conte.

Well he is a daft **** for choosing the not lift the trophy, as he fully deserved to.
The competition was more than just the final.
If it was the charity shield and someone didn't play, yet decided to lift the cup, then that would be daft.
By most peoples definition, if you miss ONE game during the campaign, you cannot lift the cup.

Saying that though, i was a little disappointed Terry didn't let Cahill lift the cup himself yesterday to be honest.
JT had played like 8 games or something, where as Cahill had captained us throughout.
JT has already lifted the PL trophy 4 times, where as Cahill, at 31, might not get the chance again (Hope not, but you never know).
So I think he should have let Cahill lift it myself, but never mind.

Scholes didn't turn up in his shin pads either. Proper team men.

Didn't realise Terry barged his way forwards to lift the PL trophy. What a ****. So that's a hat trick then?
