Having read Steve Parrish's assessment that the 2006 MotoGP World Championship was the best year, yeah, I'd probably go with that, and I've watched quite a few years of them going back. It was all just so close. 2006 was the first year I decided to record every possible MotoGP race, because documentary DVD's like Faster left out so many great bits, so I certainly have Nicky's World Championship in my collection. Might just have a couple of hours looking back this evening and remembering.
Totally self indulgent. Well today is my 20th anniversary. Somehow Mrs No7 has put up with me for this long. 21 years ago (before I met her) I worked in Naxos and finally I have gone back with her by my side.
