TWO PLAYERS REFUSED TO PLAY VS CHELSEA And for an idea of just how chaotic the situation was inside the dressing room, there are allegations that two Sunderland players refused to play against Sunderland. Former Sunderland player Michael Gray told Sky Sports News that centre-back Lamine Kone was one of two players who refused to show up, while the other went unnamed. Kone wasn’t included in the squad but the Ivory Coast international was also said to have suffered from a dead leg earlier in the week. "Yeah they did (refuse to play), which I found really shocking when you have a contract at a football club," Gray said on Sky Sports, per the Express. "When you have inside info from people like that and you have players knocking on the manager's door saying they don't want to play it tells you what kind of state the football club is in. What a grade A kunt Kones turned out to be. He came over here an unknown and now he thinks hes Billy big bollocks. I hope he was fined at the very least one weeks wage.
Not all Moysys fault when you have bellends like this at the club. Surely he is in breach of contract? Sack the f*cker.
Thats probably what he wants, id make him stay as punisment. It sends a great message of what kind of person he is to his future employees doesnt it.
Too many terrorists at the club. I hope the incoming manager has a chat with Moyes and gets a heads up about the squad.
Moysy might start blabbing his mouth off exactly what is wrong with the club if he truly walked without a pay off. It could be interesting.
I reckon Anichibe was the other. He put a pic on Twitter straight after the Swansea match of him packing his suit case.
You can understand how, as a fan of Newcastle, it can be hard not to laugh at that right? You are correct though, this is exactly what fans hate about modern football. Kone was never going to be playing for you in the Championship but he's dropped a bollock here. At the end of last season after some utterly diabolical performances we had the likes of Sissoko tear Tottenham apart 5-1 on the final day. Star performers that day were Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Janmaat... they were playing for themselves and a move but at least they were playing and giving us something to cheer. Kone is worth £15m if he has his head screwed on, he doesn't though and now you'd likely get a chunk less than that. He is indeed a grade A kunt.
I think he knew how much Chelseas forward line would have embarassed him and ruined his chances of a big money move.
He will not be going to a top top club but can see someone like Southampton taking him if/when Van Dijk goes. Kone has ability, he just happens to be a tosser.
Agree totally and whatever negatives are labelled at moyes he is honest with pretty strong morals and he may open up about the problems at the club - (its not just his negativity and dourness for our failings) By resigning without a pay off (if true) he'll be more attractive to a future lower league employer. But we move on now and need to appoint the right person to build the club up with ties to our community and not with top class another failed manager looking for a payday - Clough, SKP, Roy Keane ......
The frigging gets, that's why we were relegated eh !, bring Kevin ball and Kevin Philips back REAL players who loved our club.
