Oh I think we'll have more stability with a manager in place by the end of June. It'll just be a **** manager, with no budget and no players.
How can they learn lessons? Their way is the only way so everyone else should be learning lessons from them.
Just so long as he is a strong as well as stable manager. And the club is run for the many not the few.
I honestly think we're heading in Blackpool territory. The only difference is they'll sell after the parachute money stops and we're in the bottom division leaving the way for Adam to ride in on his white charger as if the past 15 years never happened...
We barely scraped up (nearly gave it away against Derby in the playoffs) and according to the table were the 4th best team, 6 points behind Brighton.
If Silva goes along with his coaching team who do we have left in the back room staff? I thought of Dean Windass (a real Allam yes man) but OLM said he was a long shot. Are there any other likely candidates?
The sale of the club fell through in September, after the window had closed. Bruce was driven out the club by Ehab, he wasn't hanging around waiting for any pay-off and he left in July ffs. Nice attempt at rewriting history, but there's only one person to blame for this seasons debacle and he's called Ehab.
The sale might have finally fallen through in September but it was very much on throughout the summer. Bruce wasn't driven out, he left, he wasn't sacked and he would have left earlier if Villa had of wanted him sooner and he would have left anyhow in he had got the England job, which is a good indicator even to a novice that he wanted to be away. It was a dogs dinner of a pre season, even down to the pre season fixtures. It will not be repeated this year.
Where's the no longer for sale come from in the thread title? I have literally not paid any attention to whats going on at the top since September. I know two pitch people got sacked and thats it. I take it there were no more potential buyers or rumours over the course of the season? I've asked for an update many times but nobody ever bothered to tell me what's been cracking off.
