    If it were just about any other English team I'd probably want them to win. Increases England's coefficient ranking.

    However, financially United are much better off by far than any other club in England, I don't want them to get in Champions League and have access to Champions League money.

    It's scary to think what they could do with their enormous transfer budget if they ever got a decent manager.

    Kuyt and Suarez were our last two strikers from the Dutch league. I'd say we do well with Dutch league strikers.

    Money means nothing if you don't get the right players, there are quite a few relegated teams that will prove this.
    You have done very well this season by using the alphabet method, the best players in your team all have the second name beginning with M, Milner, Matip, Mane and Mings. If you buy a few more like these you could go places <ok>

    We did well with van Nistelrooy, Arsenel (and us) with van Persi, Arsenal again with Berkamp. Other than that many other "top scorers" have come here and disappeared for ever. Like I said, it's 50/50 for some reason, they all look world beaters in Holland but it doesn't always transfer quite so well when they move.

    Scholes was not the best midfielder in the league at 36. I struggle to remember a time when he was the best midfielder in the league at any single point, let alone at 36. Unless you think that being behind Tom Cleverly in the pecking order is something that would happen to Vieira, Keane, Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard etc. at their best.

    And you won the title (mostly) because of Van Persie's goals, revisionism to say that a guy who started 8 games in a 38 game season won you the league.

    So who was the best midfielder in the league when he was 36? (in fact who was for the rest of his years).
    RvPs goals went a long way to helping us but were far from the only reason we won the league. Are you Astro (stat man) in disguise?
