£60 million spent on Sissoko, Janssen and GKN. That's where we lost it. One decent striker brought in and some of those draws would have been victories.
On a real Diego, I dont understand your slant on Spurs. If I was the fan of a club who had enjoyed 30+ trophies in the last 20 odd years and I saw another club performing like Spurs have been. I wouldn't think it's necessery to always try to pull the rug. I would expect myself to understand how hard it is to succeed, have the know how to see what's going on and would be absolutely full to the brim in contentment due to my own team's achievements. Either you know **** all about football, was a glory hunting kaant back in the day and therefore struggle to accept an ounce of mediocrity in your team or you have never kicked a ball in your life....which one is it?
One decent "off the bench" striker and we would have won it. I said it in another thread but if we'd have had Giroud in our ranks, and he came off the bench and got those last minute goals like he did for the goons, we'd now be champions. And without him, the goons would be mid table at best.
Probably all 3. His posts don't paint his mental state in a favorable light. He fancies himself as a really clever wum but is always boring, unsubtle and predictable
None of the above. If you notice I have never decried the Spurs team or individual players, I happen to really enjoy watching them and would have been more than happy if they won the league (I am on record on here as saying if United couldn't win it then Spurs would be first choice among the rest). All I try to do is balance extreme/bizarre views like the press/other clubs are out to get you because your players are getting linked to other clubs. Guess what, that is what happens when you have some great players and have just had an amazing season (it happened to Leicester last year ffs). There is no conspiracy, reporters look for big stories when the football is over so they usually look for a big name to link with a "sources say" move. This year you have a lot of great players that most other clubs would jump at if given the chance, it's little wonder you are getting a lot of press mentions. To top it all off someone said Rooney wasted his career, I couldn't stop laughing at that so put some laughs as an answer but apparently I was wrong to give the answer that actually came to me first. I would imagine there are quite a few players who are hoping they can waste their career as badly as Rooney has, maybe even some in your team.
If the things I say wind you up then you have a very short fuse. What have I said that you consider a wum, or is someone with a different opinion automatically wumming because, well they must be if they don't agree with you?
You laid into RDBD for putting up some rather impressive stats that suggest Spurs have had a fantastic season..there was no mention of the press.
just give up, you're embarrassing yourself All them "best teams" yet still come 2nd, weird innit ? is not an opinion, it's a deliberate, poorly executed, unoriginal wum attempt. No surprise, coming from you.
I don't get embarrassed that easy Really, what have I said that was a wind up, if I am wrong I will retract it.
Did he ?? Either I missed that one, or it was so lightweight that an ants' breath had more force on my skin.
Quite right too, you pointed out a lot of good firsts/records and I acted like a kitten with it's claws out
