Hope you bounce straight back lads and best of luck next season. Shame to see Daws, Hudd and Mason relegated as all 3 were excellent servants of our club. Today was nothing personal. We clearly wanted to make amends for the pathetic way we finished off last season and yourselves and Leicester happened to be the two hurdles in the way of reaching that goal. It is no coincidence that so many poorly run teams have suffered relegation this season. You, Sunderland, Blackburn, Orient, Wigan, Coventry...the list is quite depressing and it's the fans who invariably suffer the brunt of it.
Sounds like we finished like we started. Sad, but totally predictable. Some bloody good players were mugged today and that's the really sad thing.
Great to see Keane and Mason during the "fan appreciation", but the abscences are just as interesting - no Hernandez. I guess the writing was on the wall with him after his "oh well I'll watch from home" tweet after he did his ankle. No Maloney or Odubajo either. I know it's a "nice" thing to do, but I can't help but think if Ryan can make the effort, what's the excuse for the others?
I know the whole point was to show their appreciation to us but I most of the players are as fed up as we are with the Allams. Look at how many have pointed out the start to the season being unprepared in their comments on Twitter and Instagram. Ehab has ****ed this year up for everybody. Somebody else would have been sacked for this mismanagement but Assem obviously won't fire his son.
I'm not into this sort of thing, but Ryan's reasons for making the effort (considering who we were playing) were very different to anyone elses. I'm sure the club will dictate who does and doesn't attend. Incidentally if I were a Chelsea fan. I'd like to think I'd have walked out after 26 minutes. No one seemed to and so maybe I wouldn't. Repulsive all the same.
7 - 1 today was poor, we gave up the ghost. Other, recent results were superb though, weren't they? Talk about kidding the kiddas. We were in with a shout and we fell out with a ****e. Terrible.
That's the worst home result I've ever seen from us. The defending was bloody awful, we barely troubled the opposition goalkeeper and half the team didn't look bothered. No wonder we got relegated if we're capable of performances like that. They need to buck their ideas up if they're going to go for promotion, play like that and we'll drop straight through.
You're right, it was abysmal. What did you see to attract Championship battlers? We're ****ed and no mistake. I'm always positive or silent, but this is grim. Most seem to want Silva to stay and I just don't see him as the answer.
