Chap near me had a series of bets...
    Kane to score first
Kane to score a hat trick
    Spurs to win 6-1.

Serves him right betting against his own.

Did Watford really have two goalies on the bench today.
    Never heard of that before.

You have to admire Spurs, they are the best team I have seen this season. Their movement, and understanding between players is to be applauded. Eriksen is just amazing, he is everywhere, Kane is equally impressive.

We tried but were just out classed today, though 7-1 is certainly a humiliation. I thought Bowen did OK, Tymon made 2 mistakes which cost goals, he will learn from that. Thought N'Diaye put effort in as did Clucas. Huddlestone, even though he didn't get chance to use the ball that much used it well when he had it.

I'm not convinced by Silva at all. I'm really, really not.

He's fallen short at every hurdle. Some of his decisions have been laughably naive. The last couple of weeks when the focus should have been as taut as the bow string of a member of Henry's V's advance archer platoon has been as limp as a flaccid celery stick after two weeks in a warm, moist pantry.

He has eaten at the big boys table and choked on the blandest of mushroom vol au vents. He's drunk from the most alcoholic cocktail of choice list and vomited on a virgin margarita. He has scored an ounce of moroccan black and rocked out on a disprin.

    So you swarthy Portuguese charlatan.

You arrived from the land where English children disappear, sold to gypises or worse. Where they haven't updated their tram rolling stock since the nineteeth century. Where the likes of Alan, if I was any more dull my knob literally couldn't cut through butter, Shearer decides to buy a holiday home. Whose wine is certifiably the worst in the world and who's only neighbour is the only country in Europe worse than them.

And you looked like you might be able to revive the fortunes of the worst Premier League team of all time.

    Well you couldn't, you ****.

    Your fault?

    The players fault?

    The owners fault?

    All three probably.

    In reverse order.

Bottom line. You ****ed it up.

    **** off if you like.

Or stay and put it right.

    Your call, you unproven chancer.

Seem to have missed stories of English children disappearing and being sold to gypsies in Portugal. Any details?

Bet you aren't now. That was a disaster and totally unfair to them. That could harm their development and confidence. Stupid ****ing decision by Silva.

    Agree Ern, I really do.

If anything I'm quite worried at the thought of Silver in the Chump.

We can't defend set pieces for ****e.

Has anyone mentioned the state of the pitch could be to blame?

Yeah, Kane said if the pitch had been decent he'd have scored a dozen.

    Kinnel, I wasn't expecting that!

I thought that I might get flack from the myriad of Spainophiles on here.

Or aficionados of Lisbon public transport.

    Or Alan's Shearer's missus.

    Funny old world.

They'll have learnt things from that.

And Bowen looked the only person willing to run in our team in the first half.

That's a part of being a young footballer.
