Marco should say to Ehab. "I'll only stay if I can build my own team essentially from scratch. That would mean selling 3 or 4 players and using that money plus 25 million more for replacements. I have enough good contacts in Europe to find quality replacements for decent prices and reasonable salaries. It's that or nothing". Give Ehab one week only to decide. We'll not be able to find another manager with Marco's potential anywhere who would be willing to come.
True Well certainly no one was looking like doing it until he shouted at a few of them who dutifully followed him while the rest of them ****ed off sharpish
I'm with Josh now and I asked him about why only 6 of them walked around first and he said it was just a mix up on Dawson's behalf thinking it was happening straight away.
Ok Well that's what it looked like to me Can you ask him to sign a contract please. Good to see one of our own out there kicking **** out of Alli
It wouldn't surprise me if he's not done that already. Unless he was de-mob happy and going to Watford for his next job.
Be a shame to see him go Tell him if he stays I'll buy him a pint, but if he doesn't Carmine will be popping round to make him an offer he can't refuse!
I never heard any booing and actually thought our supporters were brilliant today. Spurs supporters weren't bad ether chanting Michael Dawson's name and singing a song about Ryan Mason which raised applause from City supporters. By the end watching 6 players walking round (we now know it was a mix up) the humerous singing of "we've only got 6 men we've only got 6 men" echoing around the stadium actually made me want to cry, just felt so so sad, even with a **** last 3 games and relegation the crowd for the most part were good natured and we deserve so much better. Saw Elmo driving out sharpish when we left. God knows who we'll see next season. Heard Michael Dawson's interview with Supporters Club and he was blaming the players today saying they didn't turn up. Next season we need players with a bit of fight in them willing to give their all and I don't know where we will find them
Almost as if he's just a normal kid talking to his mate after a game. But I'm assured by Chazz he's got too big for his boots and has a whole team of advisors who are trying to shaft that poor Ehab.
Have a feeling that was Silver's last game here, that said, and regardless of what happens during the summer somebody has got to sort things out big time at City because right now,and even allowing for today's visitors who were superb btw,we simply fell apart when it matters most and in the end it all became embarrassing.
Forget Silva he's gone. The owners have reaped what they sowed - the inevitable almost didn't happen but a combination of factors (one or two Silva's mistakes it has to be said) and many more not his have led us back to the Championship. We haven't mastered this business like Stoke, Bournemouth, Burnley & Watford (granted the last 3 have to prove it with a 3rd season) and gone up and stayed up.. Brown/Dowie couldn't do it, Bruce couldn't do it, Phelan & Silva couldn't do it.. and worse, Ehab is holding the poisoned chalice..
Ha. Chazz knows best! He's a normal estate kid. Down to earth and well grounded. Suppose I would say that. It'll take the "right" offer for himself to leave - he's not somebody swayed by the name of the interested club. It'll have to be right for him and his family. He's picked up a knock from today's game. Hopefully nothing too major ahead of the England games.
