Rodwell playing and the kids sitting on the bench....what a f*cking numpty this manager is. Kids could have got valuable experience today.....plus they wanted to play....madness.

What good would it have done them?

Leave them be till next season IMO. This one was done a long time ago and don't really see the benefit of tainting a successful season for the youngsters by chucking them in the deep end on a hiding to nothing against the champions.

This keeping the 'kids' for better times is a load of f*cking bollocks to me mate. What we got them wrapped up in nappies? FFS it's a mans game....no wonder our youth policy is ****. Put them in...if they crumble then there not what we need. Let's wait till we are 10 up against Burton Albion then give them 5 minutes from the end...in case they get a nose bleed. Let's play players who do't give a f*ck about our team instead. Would have give my right nut to be out on that pitch today against the champions....

Agree it was too late to blood the kids in this one, it was always going to be a hiding, thank god its over, of the three teams going down I recon we are the least likely to get back in one go, far better to introduce the home grown talent next season.
All I ask for is signs of progress on the pitch, no more Pienaars, Gibsons and Rodwells etc., and a team I can feel deserves support, unlike the present shower.

Kids should have been involoved since the New Year. Clearly Khazri was never going to figure. Anichebe on the sick bed and we didn't sign a striker in January. We lack pace....we have two kids Asoro and Maja have it to burn. Both of these maybe not together should have had frequent playing time since then.....well we just continued with Borini, Adnan playing like sh*t....yep great phyolsphy.

No way put a bunch of kids on to-day, the squad is in total melt down led by a bloke who doesn't give a s**t. They would have been ripped apart today and that would have left us without a hope in hell.

I totally agree with all of this mate, cannot believe how poor our front line has been, but let them hang themselves to-day and not put the kids up when as you say its too late. <ok>

My point is that by the time of todays game kids like Asoro, Maja, Embleton etc would have had enough game time over the last few months at least to have been comfortable out there. Yes, when you go to Chelsea you would expect a tough time but this is part of the learning curve they have to go through. The game plan for next season from what I understand is to rely on youth and start again? Why not use the time we had this season to have given them preparation for this? Clearly when you don't sign a striker in January you are putting out the intentions of what we were planning for. No we continued with Pienaar, Gibson, Lescott, Rodwell, Adnan etc.....great youth development that.....

David Moyes reveals #SAFC agree to put the ball out in the 26th minute so John Terry could have his send off.

    That's just disgraceful if true.

Didn't realise it was the John Terry Testimonial Match. Daft me thought it was a competitive league game.

Moyes should be fired immediatly if this is true....someone should have kicked him in the nuts on 26 minutes...

That has to break some rules though doesn't it. It affects spread-betting for one thing.

Just another kick in the face for the punter and the man in the stands.

Maybe a slight over-reaction but I find that quite shocking.

    Dunno, maybe it's shocking I'm shocked! <laugh>
