So the last day of the season is upon us. Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull are down and Chelsea are champions. The only spots still to play for are 3rd and 4th with The Gooners, Man City and Liverpool looking to finish in the top 4. Liverpool and City just need to win and they are in with the Gooners failing to get into the top 4 for the first time many, many years. Arsenal V Everton 15:00 Burnley V West Ham United 15:00 Chelsea V Sunderland 15:00 Hull City V Tottenham Hotspur 15:00 Leicester City V Bournemouth 15:00 Liverpool V Middlesbrough 15:00 Manchester United V Crystal Palace 15:00 Southampton V Stoke City 15:00 Swansea City V West Bromwich Albion 15:00 Watford V Manchester City 15:00
I like the fact that we could have points, GD, GF ties (between any 2 of the 3) which would mean a playoff game.
Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal must be VERY nervous. Liverpool need to grab a CL spot after beinv in top 4 since September, City won their first 10 matches of the season so failure to get top 4 would be a massive **** up and Arsenal need it as only 2 teams have come in to top 4 after qualifying for and playing in the EL (spurs 2009-10 and 2015-16 and Man City 2011) so they may well struggle next season if they drop out of top 4. Should make for a fun watch cos although I want the goons to miss out, either of the other 2 losing out would be fun too!
Can't see any other result than a Liverpool win to be honest. I know Liverpool have a knack of ****ing up against the teams in the lower half, but surely a relegated Boro at home, with CL football at stake, should be enough to spur Pool on to do the job,.
Gonna be a corker down here with Southampton Nil vs Stoke... Can't see anything but a Pool win. Boro are beyond ****e and it should be comfortable for them. I hope they do too, will be good having 5 CL sides and Arsenal not being one of them. Wil be ****ing funny if they do **** it up though
Hoping for a Pool or Man C loss and Arsenal win with a good few goals just in case, odds are it wont happen
You better not **** this up, you Scouse and Manc ****ers! Man Utd are going to play their youth team against Palace, by all accounts. It's so close in mid-table now that the game could mean about £10m to Palace in league money, depending where they finish. I assume that Man Utd and Mourinho will be heavily punished for fielding a weakened side, of course...
Have to agree with LL. I can't see even Pool managing to **** this one up. They really couldn't ask for a much easier game to guarantee themselves CL qualification.
