I know that HIAG got this wrong big time but the comic timing inherent in this statement is far too coincidental not to have been made with a massive dose of irony! It's hilarious whether he intended it or not. I am a charitable kind of guy and always like to see the best in people so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Plus I cannot believe that anyone would so cripplingly stupid!!

I don't think he actually believes most of what he posts himself. But if it gets a bite, then I don't think he really cares.

If you don't know the history, he's been baiting Piskie for about 6 yrs now. It hardly ever stops. They're at it like some old married couple that can't live together, but can't do without each other either.

Saying that, I thought Piskie might go doo lally with HIAG not around, but he has coped just fine.

HIAG rarely does irony ... the idea that he also does things 'clearly in jest' is also flawed ... when he's not getting his way (which has happened a few times ) he gets noticeably angry and resorts to demanding that the supermods ban those that are winding him up ... funniest thing is that this tends to end with him getting a 'cooling off' ban ... it is very funny ... but not quite in the way he had hoped for

 

It's a little bit more than that, hiag was pissed off that Piskie banned him for excessive wumming and ruining every thread. Since then hiags held a candle of obsession for him, the funny thing is Piskie always has the upper hand in their hilarious exchanges.

 

I think HIAG is jesting a lot more than you give him credit for. I suspect you've set your face against him and not seeing the inherent humour. 667 is coming to it fresh and he sees the humour in it, too much has happened for some of you to see it objectively.

After that amount of time, you begin to see what a tiresome twat he actually is though.

What's more annoying is that people (and I have been guilty of this myself too) dont just give him the attention he deserves, none.

 

Nope ... I give him credit for his jests (and wums) when they are funny... but as soon as he descends into tedious nonsense because someone has had a pop back - well then he's fair game ... it's quite easy to spot when the melt is about to start ...

His biggest problem is that he can't take what he dishes out in like mind ... and many threads have descended into farce as a result ...

You mention objectivity ... the biggest failing on that front comes from some of his fellow Spurs fans I'm afraid ... I guess we'll disagree on that ...

The best Wum merchants on here can, IMHO, also take it; will hold their hands up on the occasions that they get things wrong, and honour bets that they have freely entered into ... that's what sets them apart from HIAG.

 

This is where we differ. What is tiresome is the overblown responses to it. Piskie for example will go for pages asking him to justify what was essentially BS in the first place. If it's dealt with in the way it is (IMHO) intended, it wouldn't descend into the rubbish we get.

Look at the Las Vegas nonsense. Why was it so important to prove he hadn't been there. If you don't believe it, just have a laugh with him and drop it. But no, it went on for weeks and weeks.

Same with Saints/HIAG thing. So what if they are the same person, I don't get why it is so vital to prove they are and to continually goad him/them. Some of you wouldn't believe it if you met them both (apart from, to give him credit Tobes). Perhaps they are 2 people, perhaps they are 2 parts of the same person. Who cares.

Someone nicked our joints though! We noticed the sniffer dogs at the entrances so my mate hid them in an alloy in one of the cars at the SEAT showroom, came back after the game and it was gone! ****ers, good two or three pre-rolled ones in the box.

.. I've never asked HIAG to prove anything (although, for completeness, I did offer to take him up to last night's game - pointing out that Saints could then post whilst we were at the game - for some reason he completely blanked that suggestion ) ...

It is generally him that takes things to daft extremes - usually after a period of time has gone by that would allow for the preparation of 'proof' ... as you say, why can't he just accept that some people will doubt some of his claims ... he can't ... that says as much about him, if not more, than those doubting his claims ...
