Ian, I promise I wasn't having "a go", but my point was that there's times you've come on here and made judgement calls after having listened to the match on Solent. As you rightly said, their commentary is a bit all over the place, so it's frustrating when someone makes such judgements having only had that for evidence. As Trump might say, 'fake news'! It's always better to make ones own judgements.

I too would like to see Gabbi with another striker,all 3 of our strikers are better as a pairing (JRod being the exception) but who would come off if not JWP? Tadic possibly but he is the teams best assist maker
For most of this season, Prowse has had more assists than Tadic, which still isn't many. even now its 9 assists/goals for Prowse in 2700 minutes, and 1.8 chances game, vs 10 assists/goals for Tadic in 3000, with 2.2 chances created per game. Stats from the OS. I felt that once we took Prowse off, Boufal made an impact but then we started to lose control of the match. I would have done a like for like and kept the dynamic of the team that was working so well together, especially as Tadic wasn't having his best game.
Puels not allowed to sub Tadic off remember - or else he will throw his toys out the pram and whinge in the papers.
