Normally beating the league champions 1-6 would be something special but as it's Leicester it doesn't really mean anything as it was expected. Maybe not so convincingly but expected all the same. Can't recall the last time any league champions were thrashed at home by so many.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: "For us to keep our best players, a lot of clubs are interested in them but the players we want to keep will be here next season. If any players leave it's Tottenham's decision. Our fans need to be calm. "It is very clear we will keep the players we want to keep and we will maybe sell the players we want to sell. We are so, so calm about our key players. They are happy here, we have an exciting project." "The players must feel they are part of us and want to share in our success."
Leicester were thrashed by the team beaten by West Ham, that SURELY doesn't bode well for Leicester next season. Their owners are Thai and I just do not see them as entrepreneurs capable of making Leicester a top club consistently.
Fair play lads, you were very good in the final third ...although it might have been a different score line if we could have been arsed to try and defend...good luck next season
I'd like some trophies too. Do you know I get the feeling that we MUST start our campaign next season at Wembley with a good win. We've not been that successful playing there and to start with a defeat won't be a good sign.
I've said it on the general board and I'll say it here. You we're just too good for us. I don't know what we did to Kane during his time with us but he seems to want to put us through a world of pain every time we play! As for the injuries and the comments on here that the attention on it was one sided, it was but that's probably because of the strength in depth. Rose is out and you have a player like Davies to come in, same with Trippier (you were unfortunate to have your two first choice right backs out though) but generally you have quality to come in. That's the difference, we have nothing short of ****e to replace our first 11. There was clearly some bad blood towards us after last season which has been retaliated by some of our lot but hopefully handing out an embarrassment of epic proportions to us can be closure
Just to get some perspective for those calling us bottlers, based on our current points tally of 83 points, (even with a game to go) we would have won the PL 8 times out of the previous 22 years: 2015-16: 81 points 2010-11: 80 points 2002-03: 83 points 2000-01: 80 points 1998-99: 79 points 1997-98: 78 points 1996-97: 75 points 1995-96: 82 points Yeah, we bottled it alright.
Or put another way... Point the dropped over last 10 games: Chelsea 6 Citeh 11 Pool 9 Arsenal 8 Man U 16 Everton 13 Spurs.......... 3!

Anyone else notice the big improvement in corner taking last night? Thought Davies delivery was excellent!!
Yeah that's a fair point, the depth between the two sides was in our favour but even we have a few gaps that need plugging. As for the supposed bad blood, It's all good natured banter for me to be honest, John. I hold no ill feelings towards Leicester, the only teams I hate are the obvious London rivals (and Stoke, because **** Stoke and **** Charlie Adam) but I'm always happy to dish a bit of humour out to other clubs, it's part of my enjoyment as a fan, besides everyone hates us anyway so it's nice getting a bit sweet revenge from time to time
What a night last night, eh lads? Didn't realise Theresa May had already overturned the ban on fox hunting First trip to the KP for me and it was one I won't be forgetting in a long time. Think I read that's our biggest away win in the Prem era, so that's another record the gaffer and the boys can be proud of. Thought everyone was top class, baring mind both us and Leicester had a few injuries, we were able to maintain a good level of performance thanks to those who stepped in. Sissoko at RWB looked promising, not a perfect performance but he more than justified his start. Kane's finishing was just yet again brutal, I'm not sure how much longer opposition fans and pundits will need to acknowledge he's one of the best strikers on the planet but either way I'm enjoying every minute of Harry's goal prowess. Son was a constant thorn, when he's in that mood he's unplayable, could've had four himself to be honest. Delighted - and surprised - for Lesniak to get a chance, got an assist too so that'll put a smile on the lad's face. Had a great view of the game, quite liked their stadium too, very neat. Only downside of the night was that someone nicked our joints! We noticed there were sniffer dogs at the entrances to the turnstiles so my mate hid them in an alloy in one of the cars at a SEAT showroom just across from the stadium, came back after the game and they were gone! Absolute ****ers, good two or three pre-rolled ones in the box. Great night though, well done boys, COYS!
Agreed. Davies has worked very hard this season on his final ball. The cross for Wanyama's goal against United was exquisite. However, the less said about our free kicks last night the better.
