As a kid I bolted the door shut in out outside bog and then couldn't get it open. I was stuck in there for hours before someone found me, and then with the door being made of solid thick wood, it took about another half hour for my dad to get it open..I think he had to smash it down in the end..
Personally I think ya just a big heade b*stard giving it large on here.. In all seriousness tho well done.
I would go for it. Thats what makes us, gives us character and generally the most laughs when you look back at things.
As I get older one of the things I have come to realise is that the vast majority of older people have been taught how to save but never taught how to spend, no one is willing to admit it but at least 90% you will find cannot bear to spend their money, the richest most people will be in their lives is the day that they die, my outlook is if I want something I will buy it , extravagant at times but never regretted , money is useless it is only the things it can buy that have any use , I know from experience that people will read this and continue on their merry way , which of course they are entitled to do but at the same time I am entitled to my opinion that it is very sad I stress that this comment is aimed at people 65 and over unless you are of very strong character
I agree totally mate if we are hard up in the future we will take every penny out of our house and spend it the kids can do one
Anyone remember the gas slot meters? You had to put a ten bob bit in the slot & turn the lever until it dropped. Every so often the gas man would come out to empty it. He'd sit there at our table & count it all out & you got a bit of it back in what was called a rebate.
