I don't think his decision on staying or going will be based on waiting to see if he gets another job, I expect him to either commit or walk. As I understand it, the meeting he's having isn't to get an offer, he's got that already, it's to advise if he's accepting it or not.
I'm not too sure, Silva was the odd one out in regards to our manager appointments, we usually go for British.
Looking abroad again? They didn't look abroad for Silva, he came to them last summer and they weren't interested. They only took him on after being approached by his agent. They can't look again when they haven't looked before.
Even if he ****ed off today the club wouldn't mention it. It'd slowly break in the media via Twitter while the club hope no one finds out, like every time something bad happens.
I don't care enough to get all melodramatic and OTT agreeing with a post that begins ''Has anyone else logged in, with a deep breath'' ...... which is what my original post was about.
This was my post: "Are we expecting an announcement unless it's that he's staying? I'd assume it will be made after the Spurs game." I'm not sure which part of that is melodramatic, OTT or agreeing with that post? Or why that groups 'myself and others of a similar nature'?
I don't give a **** what your original post was, I wasn't responding to that, I was responding to the touchy-feely types who are getting all giddy at the thought of Silva leaving - I assumed that your taking umbrage at my original quip meant that you were of a similar ilk. Just for clarity, I don't give a toss either way.
We also know that our understanding of what 24 hours means has a totally different meaning inside the hub that is Hull City Tigers.
If he goes would you take remi garde? Didnt get much time at the cluster **** that was villa at the time Highly rated as a coach though
I'd tell him to make his mind up pronto. The last thing we need is another summer of managerial appointment procastination, coupled with owners 'just in time' stock control policy regarding signing players.
I fully agree. Im not sure I like the idea of him mulling things over and waiting for a better offer from another club (if that is in fact what he's doing). You either want the job or you dont Marco
As I said previously, he's doing exactly the same as Rafa did this time last year - be utterly non-committal either way while making it clear as day that he's open to offers. The only way he'll stay is if nothing he fancies comes forward.
