They're not trying to be different though, are they? They're trying to be the same as other kids. As for the north being ******ed, the worldwide industiral revolution started in Lancashire. While the south was still largely argricultural. Plus the world's first computer at Manchester Uni, while the south ponced about as usual trying to be as continental as possible. It's no coincidence that 50% of the average southerner's alcohol intake comes from shandy, and the other half comes from wine. Brownhatters, the lot of you
Different to their parents generation, as I said previously. Just because you lot speak a local dialect doesn't mean everyone should. Kids always try to sound like the people they think are 'cool'. Languages change and evolve with the times, get used to it And for your feeble defence of the North, you're talking about stuff that happened decades ago. Now all you lot do is create Jeremy Kyle participants while the money is made down South
(1) How do you speak Toby? Please don't tell me you've got that generic studenty type accent that the poncey southerners have (as opposed to the chavvy ones who talk like black people). (2) No, I won't get used to it. I'll moan about it to my wife, to my mates, and on here. So you better get used to that. (3) It's not feeble. Where would the world be without industrialisation and the computer? As for where the money is made, that isn't "the south". It is just London. There are no other cities worth mentioning in the south, unlike the north where there are numerous big cities of value
(1) I speak in perfect English, tried to give it a French twang (bit like Ginola) but I just end up sounding like Clouseau. (2) please log in to view this image (3) London makes more money than all your 'numerous big cities' in the Norf. It's also a lot less 3rd world in general. I've been to Birmingham, reminded me of those pics of Kosovo after the war.
The very centre of London/Westminster might be ok, but it's surrounded by a huge 3rd world **** hole, as seen in the recent riots. I thought there were some rough areas in Manchester and Salford, but none of them are as bad as the ghettos of London. Not half as dangerous either. Do you actually live in London Toby? I seem to remember seeing that you're a Watford fan...
