If city draw then a win by 3 goals sees us go 3rd

Unless city also score 3 in their draw then we need to score 1 more than them but still win by at least 3 goal margin.

Match is on Sky live on Sunday. I thought matches at 3.00 pm could not be shown, must be because it is the last day of the season

I cannot believe that sky bothered to screen dead rubbers like the Saints/Utd and Leicester/Spurs matches

 

They can't show 3pm KO's normally because of effect it might have on attendances throughout the leagues

On the final day, all PL games KO off at the same time and the other leagues are already finished, so they always show a selection of the games live.

 

Apparently next year, we'll be able to select our own match to watch live. Pay per view?

It's happening already, if you are not Sky sports customer, some people are doing it right now

 

I think there were some news that the top clubs were going to negotiate for their own matches to be made available on a pay per view basis. But I can see lots of resistance against this.

 

You are allowed to pay per view what's being shown on sky sports. I meant selecting watching LFC on Saturday when sky are not showing it on their regular channel.

 

Not a chance of that happening at present.

The current TV deal has another 2 seasons to run.

No. The one day pass is for access to the Sky Sports channels, not for access to a game of your choice.

Maybe clubs are going to force people to subscribe to their TV Channel, if they cannot have their way.

 

I can't stand five live commentary. Even when they are commenting on our game, they constantly cut to other matches. And they waffle about managers and so on when there is an attack. Most of the time they don't even tell you what's going on. You suddenly hear "goal! " when they never bothered to report on the attack itself.
