Frankly, I cannot see why any of your players (or manager) would want to leave Spurs at this point in time other than for a ridiculous pay rise (assuming that's all that motivates them), and there are not many clubs around that can glibly trump Spurs on that score and guarantee even a player like Alli a starting spot every game. I fully expect your key players to be rewarded with a fat end-of-year bonus for finishing second and refreshed contracts. Okay, I don't suppose for one minute that the likes of Alli is going to be offer £200k per week that he might be offered at City or United, but I'm sure Levy will offer him (and the likes of Kane, Dier, Aldo, etc) enough of an incentive to keep them at the club. The more Sissoko you take, the more vouchers you get. It's an incentive thing. I am prepared to split Sissoko two ways, if there is a call for it.

Apparently, according to this 'publication' Tottenham Hotspur owner and multi-billionajre, Joe Lewis' pitched up in Malaga, in person, to negotiate the purchase of Sandro Ramirez. Now, if they'd been selling a really good Salvador Dali, maybe, just maybe he might have got his third favourite flunky to negotiate in person. Maybe! Everton expect £50m for Boss Barkley, even though Barkley is entering the final year of his contract Spurs should be thankful that City or Chelsea want to pay between £35-40m for Kyle Walker, even though he has four years remaining on his contract Do they even see how their own headlines tear their stories apart within seconds?
The craziest thing I find with the Barkley story is Everton say he can go if he doesn't extend his contract this week- and then they say they won't sell for less than £50 mil. So what if he doesn't sign and no-one is willing to pay £50mil. Where does that leave them?

If either of those doesn't come through for them, then the trouble begins. Their 'nightmare scenario' is the 'Berahino Stand-Off'.
