Spurs finish 2nd on at least 80 pts. For 2016-17, this article is now officially

Well done to the Ginger tiddler for his prediction that Spurs would
spiral upwards in PL position from 2015-16.

Tottenham have initiated talks with Juventus and Brazil right-back Dani Alves, 34. (Yahoo)

Alves would replace 26-year-old England international Kyle Walker, who looks likely to be leaving Spurs at the end of the season.
    (Evening Standard)

Two more England players - midfielder Eric Dier, 23, and full-back Danny Rose, 26 - are also close to leaving Tottenham amid interest from Manchester United and Manchester City.

I hope those rumours aren't accurate. I wouldn't want Dier or Rose at United.

We'll be able to fund our new stadium near enough immediately with the amount we're set to make on all these outgoings.

I'd love be to have Alves, he's still a great player at 34. Plus he has been there, done that....

Probably just more tabloid bollocks though...

I don't rate Dier particularly highly and I think Shaw will be better than Rose if someone can get his head straight. Those aren't two problem positions for us.

    I see.
Personally I think I am better than Luke Shaw. The guy is fat and his attitude stinks, and two united managers have now stated as such (they also happen to be 2 of the most respected and successful managers in the history of the sport in LvG and Jose).
I think the guy is a prized twat, he has the chance most kids can only dream of and he does not take it seriously, it's an insult.

His attitude is wrong but he's a talent, worth persevering with. He's still young. Ten years left in him.
