Throw in a bit of wind and some variable track temps and it'll be more than turning left that turns ya dizzy. It's his thoroughness that might just bring him success here. He's thinking of every situation that may be thrown at him on track and not just focusing on going flat out. There's way more to it that that.

talking about racing films, anyone get annoyed when the 'hero' and his adversary are side by side the hero always manages to suddenly find an extra inch of travel on his accelerator to get enough speed for the pass.
Yeah. They usually have a good two inches of travel left! –And for some reason, Americans suddenly need to do something with that stick-shift thingy…
haha, yeah, that's probably why they're not fashionable in the states "why do I need a stick shift, I won't need an extra 5mph at 150."
If you're looking for a particular car and want a manual here, you're in for a hell of a search. Unless it only comes in manual.
Another stupid question, but when they come of the turn why do they drift away from the wall to the middle and then back to the racing line. Is it do with the vacuum created off the wall?
Coming off the banking they get pretty close to the walls as they're carried out of the corner, then it's a case of setting up for the next bank.
