Let's examine this statement in detail in context: Useless - indeed Desailly did have an appalling game on this occasion. Black - this would appear to be factually correct. Bastard - I'm unaware of Marcel's parentage so I can't comment on this one. So Big Ron was at least factually correct for at least 2 out of 3 which is a better record than KPR will ever have.
I suppose that you cannot condemn Big Ron if you look at it in that way, because ''Useless black bastard'' was Peter Schmeichels name for Andy Cole. He was heard on many occasions saying that.
