I'm not aware of anyone getting a visit from the bailiffs, but there's been threatening letters sent to some of those who just cancelled their direct debits.
Somebody mentioned that to me recently. I thought he must have things wrong after all the years it has been running. Always there through the really crap years. Any particular reason it might be packing in now?
All credit to you for voting with your feet and deciding not to go anymore. However, don't expect much sympathy, especially from myself (still waiting for your answer btw) because of how you've now been affected by the hierarchy at Hull City Tigers after everything you said to others who were affected by their antics and who only wanted to preserve their club's name and heritage. Turns out you've been lumped together with us hooligans after all, eh? Despite your staunch protection of the Allams and your criticism and scorn of those opposed to them. Your fellow fans. You just saw the bright lights of the Prem in your eyes. So you said bollocks to the decent fans who stood up against something that was inherently wrong as you got what you wanted. At first. Now look what's happened. Proper decent fans against the regime have been priced out. And that's piss poor. But you? I don't care so much. Maybe you've learnt something here. But maybe that's only because of relegation? Incidentally, if we'd been relegated to the conference last weekend but with no Allams, I'd be first in queue for a pass.
One or two are no longer here who use to go on bus A few packed in over membership scheme And one or two more are doing the same with the upper west closing Coach runs at a loss Someone wrote to club asking for a donation to keep coach running and.have not had a reply yet But I doubt they will The bloke who runs it should have put price up £10 return from filey though I always pay £15 If I went on train i would have to get taxi to stadium and back Night games no train home I will try and figure something out If I cant then I will do away games # have lift to coaches sorted and pick up when coaches get back Juniors will still getting passes.
Good point. They didn't live up to their end of the deal so why should we live up to ours? Year after year they offer points for attending games/buying merch/etc and year after year it never happens.
Sad to hear. I knew some blokes who will be pushing 80 now if they are still around, who went for years on Boddy's coaches when they ran and then for decades on the Filey bus. Always used to see it parked under the bridge after games at BP even when the crowds were at their lowest and most Hull folk had deserted the team.
Do City have the ability to mark your credit file? Have they even thought of that? Should this post be deleted?
Like I said before, I couldn't give a toss about changing the name and I still couldn't. And it's nothing to do with Premier League. I actually preferred the previous season to this because at least we would win more games than we lost. We were horrible to watch under Phelan to the point that I didn't really care if we lost. At least under Marco, we got a bit of excitement back in the way we played. But I refuse to pay £900 next season for me and my 9 year old daughter to go watch a team that yet again will be under invested and under a cloud of bitterness because of it.
I was discussing this at work today. I definitely remember the HCST asking people to read the T&C's on the membership scheme. I am sure you were entering a credit agreement of some sort. At the time I think people seemed to fobbed off with this was just for the exec boxes etc, dont worry about it... Not sure if the Allams would be petty enough to chase a couple of months of payments via a debt collection agency..... I have never renewed since the scheme came in so have no paperwork to check.
Has it changed for next season so it would cost more than this one? Genuine question as I go without kids so I don't know I seem to remember they protected family costs for a bit?
I live in Kuala Lumpur and will be keeping my membership/pass will still fly thousands of miles no matter what league we are in. Things are not great with the owners but they were **** for most of the late 80s and 90s and it didnt stop me watching MY team and neither will these owners
Some of the zones have moved, so some seats have gone up and some have gone down and the family guarantee that reduced the prices for families with multiple kids/OAP's has now been scrapped.
The club refused to respond to the issues HCST raised with regard to the terms and conditions, despite being asked numerous times for answers.
If you just stop the direct debit, you have not cancelled your membership and you will owe the club the money. It is the same as anything you do, such as stopping paying a gym subscription. You have to give notice and pay the intervening months. The club cannot resell your seat straight away if you stop your direct debit. They can once you cancel your membership.
I'd suggest anyone who cares about their credit rating pay what is due after cancelling their membership. T & C's of these schemes are always in favour of the supplier (the club).
This is pretentious nonsense. Everyone has had their own breaking point, for some it came as soon as they tried to blackmail the council into getting a free stadium, at the time many on here were defending the Allams and fighting their corner, a lot of those people are now among their strongest critics. For some voting with your feet is just abandoning the team when they need your support, for others its a moral stand that should be applauded. Very few people were anti-Allam from the off, so at some point nearly everyone has changed their tune as their behaviour has got progressively worse, it might have taken this guy longer than most but he's there now. You can but it down to relegation but I know a lot of people that put up with membership scheme for a year in the hope it would change back the year after, as it hasn't changed they've cancelled their memberships (most before relegation was confirmed). This inward fighting among fans is probably one of the worse things the Allams have caused, support for this club is the one thing that unites us all and even that is dividing people now.
