    Starting to have flashbacks of 2004, where Newcastle needed to beat southampton to have any chance of stopping us from qualifying for the CL on the final day. When Leandre Griffit made it 3-2 I celebrated like we'd won the CL (which, ironically, we did the following year <laugh>)

    Cant see anything similar happening tonight at Arsenal, but you never know

    Not getting my hopes up whatsoever but Arsenal have been dyer and the stadiums half empty!

    Fans giving up always makes it way to the players - would love a shock 0-1 tonight, have a little <ale> to celebrate

    Always going to happen in bigger stadiums, I reckon as big as some teams are the number of die hard fans is very low. Means when things start going pear shaped and results aren't going your way the fans stop coming.

    Pricing don't help though as you just price out the genuine fans for a quick buck for the prawn sandwich brigade. ( yeah I know American term but quite apt considering)

    Gonna be very quiet down the Libary next season once Sanchez has buggered off to Bayern, PSG or whoever and the lanky old pillock signs a promising youngster to replace him (but not Mbappe)
