exactly it's money but it puts us in a **** position because we will get next to nothing for him.. and he has so much potential
Far more being the key words. Can we match an offer of say thirty grand a week? I'd say no when first team players will be on less.
That's not true at all. It's not my fault that the Allams are consistently ****s. If someone is that consistent, and the Allams are, then it's only right they're pulled up on it. It still frustrates me that so few people know the kind of scummy things they do behind the scenes. They're just really ****ing nasty people.
Tymon is well worth keeping, so you offer the contract. You don't offer a contract, retract it and then offer a ****ter one, knowing full well other clubs will offer what he is asking for. Money isn't that tight that we can't afford circa £6k a week in the Championship for a youth player, especially one we would probably expect to be a first team player this season. l'd highly doubt Ehab is handling contract negotiations personally but it's still a ****'s trick and our owners have a top hat full of them.
He wants a lot more than six grand a week .**** me a youth team player got six grand for being an unused sub in the league cup this season.
I don't know how much he wants on the nose, but I've heard it's not far off. I can't imagine his demand is anything unreasonable, certainly so far as to offer a deal then retract it and offer less. That's the bit that bothers me, that we tried to do something like that thinking he'd just shrug his shoulders and accept. Frankly, the lad has talent and whatever he asks for he should get because if we lose him on a free transfer to a PL club that's piss poor.
So on one hand you're saying he'd be happy on six grand and on the other he'll be first choice left back!!!! Seriously a first team player on six grand!!! And you've heard it's around that!!! Kinell sterling
Yeah, it isn't uncommon for first team 18 year olds without a full season under their belts to be on around that, especially in the Championship.
So you think that another club would pay him £30,000 a week? An unproved 18 year old who would probably wind up sitting on the bench or worse at a PL club. Pull the other one mate it's got bells on.
What about ten? Should we go to that or fifteen?? If you think a player with tymons potential Won't get more than 6 grand, well.
It depends, if he is guaranteed to be our number 1 LB, then £10,000 isn't bad if that's what he's asking. If he's going to be understudy to somebody else, it's unreasonable as that £10,000 could go to another player to bring in. I can't see him being number 1 next season, I think we'll bring in somebody more experienced or more developed.
And now you're getting it. Try and explain it to hutch. So we bring in someone else and offer him six, but pool/Man U/ newcastle offer him 12 and a five year contract...
But is it solely about the money? If he was told he wouldn't be first choice here, he might try to go somewhere where he would be. He certainly wouldn't be at a bigger club.
Josh and his advisors. Painting that convenient picture again. You've been told before that his only 'advisor' is his old man but that doesn't suit.
I'll be honest - I'd rather have Tymon at left back on £10k a week than another punt on some other ****e. From what I've seen he should easily be able to cope with the Championship. Look at that kid at Leeds - Charlie Taylor. Tymon is just as good - he just needs games.
You've been told before!!! ha ha Tymons got an agent. Stop trying to paint an image of tiny tim begging for scraps. But a lad of 18 wont play a full season glp. Too physical on a young lad. He needs protecting. Taylors 23. Good player too. He played 32 games when he was 20 for Fleetwood. Only an odd appearance prior to that.
