Midsomer Norton?! Their Cats Protection branch gave our branch a very kind donation at the beginning of the year

If you'd rather donate to a local CP then search for their website, I'm sure that they'll have the same fundraiser for their branch
Done it Helen. my cat, Big Steve forced me to donate. He didn't realise it was helping Welsh cats, but then again he doesn't know where Wales is so it's not important to him
please log in to view this image So this will really upset people [emoji16] I'm sitting on our veranda having a brandy and a cigar and this is what I can see after a nice seafood meal with wine. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] Is it Matchday yet?
The donation came out of the blue so was a very pleasant surprise. They want us to use it for neutering and seeing as CP alone spent about £21,000 on neutering just in this county last year it'll be money very well spent. We're a small, fairly new branch so places like Midsomer Norton are like fairy godmothers to us
What's the saying? Showing off comes before a fall or something like that? Make sure you don't fall in and are held under, No7
My son is a veterinary nurse in Norton so he sees the results of people not neutering their cats far too often in his job and is a big fan of the CPL and the work they do
You're welcome Helen, and another donation from just over the Somerset border from Midsomer Norton is on the way!
I issue neutering vouchers for our branch and it amazes me that people still believe that it's "kinder" for a female cat to become pregnant at least once. As soon as I tell them the consequences of one litter of kittens then they soon get their cat to the vet. Even worse are those owners who have un-neutered males. They don't see the harm that their cat can do so don't bother to get him neutered. It drives me potty that there's still such ignorance about neutering CP and RSPCA have a scheme in Wales which offers neutering and microchipping of pet cats for £5 and it's made a hell of a difference. We still have to fork out for feral neutering, though, of which there are literally thousands, if not tens of thousands just in this county so any and all donations are very welcome
I believe they have a similar problem in Hampshire with Pompey fans, although the numbers are far lower...
