He wouldn't even tell them where him and Hindley buried that little lad so his parents could give him a proper burial.
Classic sociopath - Manipulating until the very end. Didn't die on his terms and if it is true he had lung cancer then he would have suffered greatly over last few days. A tiny piece of justice for the families of his victims. He may have revealed the location in his letters/ writings but I doubt it. Brady was all about control and he may have died having that.
It's people like him that make me baulk at the "human rights" campaigners for people who commit this sort of crime. They should have all rights removed as soon as they commit this crime. Hope he suffered more pain than is imaginable - but I doubt he will have
I've read a fair few books on the Moors Murders and the Myra Hindley biography. When you read in graphic detail exactly what he did to his victims and especially the last victim, Edward Evans, it makes you realize that there are just some people that aren't human by the standard definition. Brady wasn't mentally ill. He was just pure evil. He always referred to the murders as a 'existential experiment' as if the children were pieces of meat for him to experiment with. His taunting/ manipulation of Winnie Bennett after the event especially was just sick. I don't buy into the theory that he forgot where he buried Keith; he knew very well where the body is. Sadly, that secret may have been lost with Brady's death. That is the sad thing about yesterday.
Without going into too much detail - Brady and Hindley tied her up, took 'pictures' of her, Brady raped her and they both tortured the girl. They recorded her pleas for her life, her cries/ screams and Brady strangled her. All to the tune of Little Drummer Boy by Bing Crosby in the background. Truly sick.
Her parents heard the recording during the trial in 1966. I don't think people realize just how evil the pair of them were.
Regarded by some in the legal profession as the worst piece of evidence ever heard in a British court.
The coroner is determined that Brady's ashes shouldn't be scattered on the moors where he killed those kids. Who in their right mind would carry out evil Brady's wishes (if that is what the sick, controlling twat wanted)? Brady's body should be set in concrete and tipped into the sea somewhere, preferably so it ends up 30,000 feet down.
