I bet Fergie is glad he retired. Maureen is not so lucky. Charlie Adam is best off retiring now. All they have to do now is bring in a sin bin for yellow cards and have an independent time keeper like in Rugby. When the play stops for an injury/time wasting, so does the clock. A siren then sounds the end of the match.

And if Wenger 'doesn't see it', he can watch the reply on the big screen.

Fergie's retirement saw them drop out of the top 4. Proper unbiased officiating could see them relegated given current form!

The voluntary ethnic identification is a hoot. In all seriousness, I actually believe they're just using this information for demographics. It's never seen by those making decisions to hire.

However, I'm always tempted to check African American. My ancestors came from Africa, albeit hundreds of thousands of years ago, and my nationality is what we fondly term 'murican (and never you mind about all the other North, Central and South Americans). How could I be more African American than that?

One of my school friends was named Mackenzie, had blonde hair and blue eyes and always checked "South Pacific Islander" for the excellent reason that he was born in New Zealand.

This is poor from Sky. Friday night football and no Rachael Riley. Replaced by Fatty Frank. Not impressed by this.

Owen Farrell has many of his father's traits.
He makes the most of every ounce of his ability.
    Totally professional all the time.

<applause>. Again to Jermain Defoe for today. Bradley Lowery is suffering from his cancer spreading to his legs, so was unable to lead Sunderland onto the pitch today. Defoe picked him up and carried him on. Legend.

Hi Spurs. Found this on one of my HDDs and thought anyone here might like it. Copy away. Shows off White Hart Lane quite well from the 1960s. I won't insult you with identifying your own players**[look below and reveal], though the Saints player is the great Ron Davies:

** OK, they are left to right [foreground] Cyril Knowles, Dave Mackay, Mike England [5] and Alan Mullery. If someone tells me that CK is actually Terry Venables, I might believe them. The player in the distance on the left wing could be the great Cliff Jones, but it's a guess.
