You obviously saw him at a different time, which I missed. I saw him with hands in pockets, slouching around looking disinterested....... maybe I should have gone to SpecSavers!! But totally agree - he would be a fool to leave the club now.
We've got our own arch, We've got our own arch, We're Tottenham Hotspur, We've got our own arch! I remember singing that at an under 21s match when the samething happened. Good way for us to send off White Hart Lane today
Yeah - apart from those sadly departed, Stevie P, JD and Martin Peters are 3 who I missed most. Guess some are in ill health - and surprised that Joe Kinnear made it. He didn't look at all well.
Agree about Kinnear. Didn't stop his love affair with himself though. Have to remember him as the great full back he was - him and Knowles were the Walker and Rose of their day - rather than the twat at Wimbledon and Newcasrle he became.
I noticed his phone was in selfie mode. I'm sure the others were filming the crowd.Because he's worth it.
Has it already been noted that Jimmy Greaves was not present ? And Keith Burkinshaw although he must be 80 plus now
After the game against Arsenal 2 weeks ago, Cliff Jones did 100 press ups in the hospitality lounge to celebrate and prove his fitness.
No Lineker either - and no mention....... strange!! Edit - sorry NSS - just saw your earlier post......
