As in the last few decades, they win bugger all. Now they head off into oblivion and debt playing a couple of CL games at Wembley before they fail to qualify and then carry on their woeful Wembley form into a season of mid-table mediocrity while the big clubs hover like vultures ready to pick of the players Levi has to sell to service the debt.
I think Smalling and Jones may have just played their way out of the club, shocking performance. I thought we were going to concede every set piece, thank god we weren't playing West Brom.
Eh coming 2nd and winning **** all is ****. Nothing against Spurs but if that's a good season for them then they are welcome to keep it.
We've played in the CL twice, so far. You'll have to ask me that after we've played in it another 20 times.
Considering some of the dross and mid-table mediocrity we've had to put up with for most of my life, i'd say we're moving in the right direction. We're still trying to play catch-up with moneybags clubs like yourselves, City and Chelsea so are punching considerably above our weight. Can you say the same?
Well, it looks like someone fancies themselves as a comedian. Best not to go professional though, eh?
Not saying you ain't going in the right direction just saying you got **** all to celebrate just yet. No one remembers coming second and winning **** all.
The only problem with current teams acting above their station is that the usual culprits, Chelsea, arsenal, city and us, have had a weird couple of seasons. Well done for making CL and all that but I don't see spurs in top 4 next season and that is just the move to Wembley because that pitch doesn't suit your game
The only thing we're celebrating is leaving our stadium. The only people going on about our celebrating 2nd place are the fans of other teams.
OK I accept that for us individually bug I don't think Leicester would have won if Chelsea had not had issues, pep has messed up with THAT squad and you guys haven't been able to take advantage
