The North East trips might actualy be do-able for me (work commitments aside), but no doubt the brainboxes at Sky will probably put them on a Tuesday evening just to **** up all the away fans......
Given how I'm playing golf at the moment it would take years. Easy train from Kings Cross or Stevenage though.
Forest Green promoted to the football league after beating Tranmere 3-1 in the play-off final. Forest Green finished 9 points behind Tranmere in the table, arguably unfair.
They should have two automatic promotion spots plus the playoffs but everyone knows the rules from the start.
Below the conference they play the final at the ground of the higher placed club. Fairer but would mean far less money.
Spurs play their final game at White Hart Lane. They are a good team and I like Pochettino, but can't stand the club and fans. I hope they really struggle at Wembley next season, just like they did in the CL this year.
Something intangible about the club and fans that puts me right off them too - they seem to have an air of "we're too good for you" whenever I come across them (not very often these days thankfully) and, like you Stan, I hope they crash and burn at both Wembley and their new stadium. In fact, I think the main thing that puts me off them these days is that **** Levy.....he's taken us for a fool several times over the last few seasons, so I hope he gets shafted left, right and centre!!
Have to feel some sympathy for the Blackpool players in their play-off game, stadium virtually empty apart from the Luton fans.
I live in the spurs heartland and their fans have an incredible inferiority complex as a result of finishing behind Arsenal 300 years in a row. The way Arsenal pipped them for second spot last year sent some over the edge. I know one diehard who refused to watch them till January. A few like to take the piss out of us but it doesn't really bother me - it is just a symptom of their illness (an illness we know too). I am pleased they are spending £800 million doing up north Tottenham, and even more pleased none of it came from their 45% sell on clause for Adel Taarabt.
I like spurs much more than the gunners and im really pleased they will be above arsenal this season and many to come. They have a great team and their future looks bright with posh newb stadium contrast to us who are prob stuck to LR for eternity and will play championship or even league one football next seasons.
was going to switch games after 10 minutes because it was so poor. Ended up being a cracking game. If Blackpool do make it to Wembley, it'll be interesting to see how many still boycott putting money into their Chairman's pocket
You can catch highlights and all the colour from Chelsea's first game back at Stamford Bridge since winning the Premier League on Match of the Day later. It starts at 22:45 BST except Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. does the uk have different time zones now or does england have to suffer linekar alone
