Why do GPs look up you prescriptions on their computer? Why are test results stored on these computers in surgeries? Probably because time = money and the tories are squeezing the money
Keeping paper records clearly carries no risk... http://itknowledgeexchange.techtarg...e-points-up-shortcomings-of-physical-storage/
Did you actually read what I wrote about the difference between GPs and hospitals such as consultants ffs!
Iron Mountain fire. Iron Mountain is an international company which specialises in secure storage of paper documents. They have experienced not one, but several fires. I was actually working in a Royal Mail depot in Bow when one of these fires occured, causing a large industrial estate and several houses and blocks of flats to be evacuated. The blaze could be seen for miles. This links from the BBC. You can trust the BBC. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/5175568.stm
Its gc its a given they know **** all about anythng apart from giving popes and priests kiddies to molest and how to make bombs out of fertilzer, nails and car batteries.
If the NHS were to keep paper records of every patients entire medical history, how much physical space do you think would be required? Clue; you'd need an area the size of Guildford just to store GC's psychiatric records.
Who can access or view my SCR? Only authorised healthcare professionals directly involved in your care can access your SCR. Your SCR will not be used for any other purposes. The person viewing your SCR: needs to have an NHS Smartcard with a chip and passcode will only see the information they need to do their job will have their details recorded every time they look at your record Doctors and nurses, Paramedics, consultants, apart from that it's not shared.
Well they just managed to lose data worldwide from most countries and you're worried about a couple of fires in the UK....at least the data was not stolen and held to randsom
So you don't know for yourself you just copy and paste stuff from sources that believe they are doing a good job. The government once said diesel was eco friendly, I guess someone has to believe this ****...Devs world.
You are so ****ing clueless it's unreal. Why are you still rabbiting on about a subject you're completely ignorant of? Oh wait, you just come on here for attention, being a 24/7 unpaid moderator isn't enough for you
