We are playing against a parked bus.

We don't have a right to be awesome just because people want it.

About two months ago I was ridiculed on here for saying Marco was far from a miracle worker and top half dreams were very much dreams. I have never said I don't like him as a manager but I have always maintained we would be lucky to scratch staying up at best.

I got sick of people saying Marco would come up with some amazing tactic to counter teams every week, and turn a modest squad into assassins.

Realistically we can't score for toffee, out top scorer left in January, and some dire defensive coaching and tinkering hasn't helped.

I'm sad. I want to be positive, but history shows we can't stay up usually and this season is the same old. I don't blame the manager or the players or the Allams. I blame the fact it just isnt easy to stay up when you have no pedigree or pulling power as a championship club that has had a few tastes of the big league.

If we had a packed stadium and avoided the start of season fiasco we may have had a chance. The reality is our players aren't consistent and that's why we have gone down.

You have been magnificent these last few months, given the issues with your squad, just didn't have enough fuel in the tank for the final mile, sorry to see you boys go down, given any other situation, would be wanting Fat Sam relegated, so wish you all a very speedy return!...............<ok>

I don't think that will be an issue again for a good few years.
