Run to the pub then, quick hair of the dog, the run to the next pub.

 

Seems to be a common theme this morning...had some cans of Guinness in the cooler from way back and thought I'd make some room by leisurely drinking a couple whilst watching our game at City. Combination of enjoying the Guinness and seething at Bobby Madley's twatish reffing led to consuming all 4 and then going on to the Rioja ...

I have now been reminded why you shouldn't mix the black stuff with red wine ... 300 Spartans appear to be banging their shields very loudly in my cranium ...

 

At the tennis club watching Stan Jr train. Hoping the fresh air will sort me out. Plan B is to drink while watching the 1st XI at the cricket club later.

 

Did you drink Guinness straight out the can? Hardcore, tastes ****ing rank mate.

I like a pint of Guinness from the pub from time to time, not a can though!

Usually drink it in the winter a bit but not from cans. These were the 'draught' ones and we'd put them in the chiller for a relative you likes them but in the end didn't have them. Surprisingly nice whilst sitting in the sun in the garden I will confess...

She's got 'plans' for today apparently and I doubt copious amounts of lager will feature, given I was out in Liverpool Friday night and locally last night. I might nip out and buy her a nice bottle of fizz and suggest we sit in the garden mid afternoon, which will lead to the pub after it's gone

Yeah always, but I don't generally smoke spliffs as I don't smoke tobacco. Only smoke blunts if I'm feeling flush.

Usually take a pipe when going out. But you have to then start considering elements such as wind etc. Gets a bit tricky in an open field, probably end up in my car "listening to Liverpool" for 10 minutes.

 

Yeah i need to get off the baccy combination..tried it..dont get that same umph..but thats for me to get used to. I try to avoid the car. when i got fam in it, stinks it out..everyone smells it but myself..been clocked loads

 

I hate those Sundays. I know I've got one coming soon, I can smell it in the air when I talk to the Mrs.
