    £1.5 million bid? I'd triple that.

    Didn't he get around 15 PL goals last season? That's worth more than £1.5 million.

    Would definitely like to see him here, he's a very good player. But yeah 30 is too old for Mike so it is unlikely.

    Same here, very capable at this level as he showed last season. Him,the fella from Sochaux and Pieters for a combined £17/18 million and I would be happy!!!

    While we're talking targets how about Emnes from Boro. He's doing well (5 goals in 3 games) plus it would piss off the smoggies no end if we nicked him

    He'd cost more than £1.5m, I don't think he'll score as many this season. BUT, if he was available for that price then yes.

    Can't see them selling their star striker to a similarly positioned club for such a small amount, also can't see mike paying over the odds for a non French 30 year old.

    On the other hand, Cwarr hasnt mentioned it so it's bound to happen....

    Apparently West Brom rate him around 10 mil, doubt they'd get that but they wouldn't sell for 1.5...
