Should StereoTypist be stripped of moderator duties

I really don't think this guy is up for the job. Some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth is both cringing and disgusting.

Today he decided to have a dig at the Hillsborough disaster on the Liverpool board.

I think the mods should be reasonable folk that don't lower themselves to come out with disgraceful garbage like that or getting their kicks by telling others a poster has cancer.

I think this fella is on borrowed time.

Don't know the guy/girl very well myself, but the majority of posts I've seen from this poster are either hypocritical or in bad taste.

I was shocked when I noticed the word "moderator" under his/her username.

Of course, perhaps the posts I've seen were just a momentary lapse, but from what I've heard from other posters, I strongly doubt it.

 

So the Hillsborough disaster is now acceptable banter on here?

What about the Ibrox disaster?
The valley parade fire?
The Celtic child abuse scandal?

Medro, I'm going to be totally straight with you.

You seem to have joined up to not606 thinking it's the same as BBC606. To most people, the clue would be in the name. Now, you seem to be the sort who is easily offended. You posted a thread recently complaining that the sun (the fiery, hot one) was sectarian and you got the total pish ripped out of you. There's barely a day goes by when you're not posting some nonsense about Celtic FC and Celtic fans being sectarian.

Frankly, it's not healthy.

As for the thread you alluded to, I never even mentioned Hillsbrough. I was talking about a newspaper story linking Pat McCourt to Liverpool and you and that other nutcase Skylarker or whatever he calls himself chose to take offense at it. Quite how a lighthearted thread about possible signing targets could offend you is quite beyond me.

I don't care whether you or anyone else likes me or hates me. I, like many, signed up here because you get to talk about football but you also get to talk about pretty much anything on GC and can get away with stuff you would never have got away with on BBC606 or most other sites.

You (along with a couple of others) seem to have an unhealthy obsession with me. Just let it go. No good can come of it.

Stereo does have problems with my music taste (SNEAKBO) but I don't see anything he has done wrong.

 

If you ever read anything i have ever posted you would realise my tounge is far from stereos arse, assuming that is that a scouser is capable of reading and independent thought.

It should be deleted because it serves no purpose, much like the tax office in liverpool.

In that Liverpool article you said all those fans were good for was commemorating disasters. It's pretty clear what you meant.

I like a laugh as much as the next person but I don't find cancer a very funny topic, nor people getting crushed to death. Nor would I use that an attempt to wind someone up on a football forum.

 

Think everyone needs to chill out, ST being a mod may not please everybody but does it really matter? Hes the Celtic mod and unless you want to post rubbish on their board then you won't have to deal with him as a MOD, just deal with him as a slightly annoying fellow poster

 

To be fair, Medro only said that Celtic fans had a banner/card display of a symbol used by the IRA youth(which I didn't have a clue about admittedly) and that happens to be some sort of sun, so I don't really get why people are saying he is offended by the sun, I would say it is more the IRA youth thing.
