So am I. I thought it was really classy. Probably a bit too good for Eurovision, but that's a first class song and singer. It's got a decent chance.

I've only seen Lucie - who was brilliant - and the acts after her and I'm actually really enjoying it! That yodelling woman was fantastic!

A local choir from my part of the world, led by a school pal of mine is the Welsh (British?) entry for the Eurovision Choir of the Year :D

Yeah, but the song was iffy. And although her yodelling was amazing, was it appropriate in a pop song.? I mean, it's meant to be about communicating between Swiss mountains, as far as I know. Next we'll have a modern day Ima Sumac coming along.

TSS, you're trying to apply logic to the Eurovision Song Contest. Stop it.

You don't know what you're missing, WS. Well, you probably do but seriously, the yodelling was brilliant ;)

OK. I'm just trying to diminish the opposition to Lucie Jones' song. I read that you hadn't heard any song before hers. Well it was easily the best up until then.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had to stage a really expensive celebration of Europe next year :)

Well, the French will do nothing. Brits have a great chance. Course, we're buggered because last June we picked our football up and went home saying, 'it's not fair, I'm going to tell my Mum about you'.

I voted for Italy. It hasn't got a scooby of a chance. I'm buggered if I'm going to vote for a song which might give the British one a hard time. ;)

Jeez, it comes to something when Italy looks like besting Britain over pop music.

I thought there was a rule that only really crap songs...usually involving some ex-Soviet countries...were allowed to be in contention.

You're all forgetting the popular vote, which will probably see someone completely different win. Last year the Australian entry was as far ahead as Portugal is tonight, but lost to Ukraine on the popular vote.
