Speaking as a Happy-clapper, IMO Clasie is never going to be a Prem player, he does well at times but is no way going to match a decent midfield Its a different game in the Netherlands and he will probably be succesful again if he returns Shame but you can't win them all, we need a Sigurdsson
Landed. Did I miss anything? Odd moment though as we flew way North East of Manchester to land from that direction, when we were nearly hit by a white, spherical object. No idea what it was.
It's a personal thing, Puel can't express himself very well post match therefore he must be a **** coach is basically at the core of the discontent.
We have gathered some right fickle buggers over the last few years. Maybe a couple mediocre seasons will level things out a bit.
I will stand by my opinion that too many changes were made. HOWEVER, it was a good win and Pied's performance was encouraging, albeit against an awful side. Long and Rodriguez however, are done at Saints.
Saints fans are like all fans and cover a broad spectrum Choose who you listen to, its the only answer Some people seem to like being unhappy, some the opposite I've tried both and I know which one I prefer Happily Mrs S is very firmly in the same camp
Good for you. I am delighted for you. It's always good when you convince yourself you were right all along, despite the facts and the result
Pied would probably have been first choice RB this season but for doing his ACL 11 minutes into his Saints career in August. Martina would have left in August as well. Great to see Pied rerurning so well today!
Wee bit harsh on Cedric there Chilcs - I think he's been one of our better performers this season and come on since the Euros. I'm sure Pied would have got games, but not convinced he'd have been 1st choice.
Just got in, good result! Brave from Puel as I said before kick off. Seen on Twitter that Pied was good, how was Caceres? Good to see Austin get a few minutes too.
Oriol lost the ball under no pressure a couple of times leading to very dangerous attacks. If Maya had done the same there's have been howls of anguish all round. Just saying... Vin
Whilst Puel wanted to win, I am taking his team selection as meaning it wasn't the be all and end all....he would rather give some players game time, especially those who have been out for a while. Otherwise, without any U21 games, there are only 2 games left before the holidays. Presumably he will play the main team on Wednesday...unless he decides to experiment again Don't panic....unlikely.
Just got in from a strange match. We should have been 3-0 up but were suddenly 2-1 and desperately trying to avoid 2-2. Was surprised to see the changes. Thought Pied was better than I expected and so was Caserces? after a coupon of dodgy moments. Pierre and Soufian were well off the pace. Pierre was better in the second half but either if them could have gone at half time. Now have to hope that Hull stay up.Can we please find a penalty taker
No arguing that Cedric has had a great season but Pied was brought in to be the main RB I believe. We'll never know how well Jeremy would have done, but after practically a whole season out, it wasn't a bad comeback was it? And I mean no disrespect to Cedric at all!
