To be fair KC, Sund'land weren't any great shakes last week, only Pickford and O'Shea came out with any credit, same old from us couldn't take our chances, couldn't score. All the others at the bottom around us have what we haven't got, a proven striker who knows where the onion bag is! Also, just knew that run of winnable games Nov/Dec, S'land, WB, Boro & Palace, where we got 2 points from 12, would come back to bite us on the backside.
I noticed Anichebe only lasted half an hour today. Must have been that pasting Elmo gave him last week catching up on him.
I know its been mentioned already, but if we beat Sunderland last week, we'd still be in the bottom 3 on 37 points. We'd need to win against Palace and possibly Spurs too.
Sickening to see that lucky ****er Clement cavorting in front of the 1,500 away flaskers and kissing the badge. Up his own arse.
Let's all watch Fulham v Reading and take our minds off of the Premier League http://cricfree.sc/watch/live/fulham-vs-reading-fc-live-streaming
He inherited a mismanaged squad that's much better than a clutch of PL clubs: AFC B, Watford, Burnley + the relegation stationary. The true lucky ****ers are the likes of Watford and AFC B. Lucky that they've been in the ****test PL for years.
True but the psychology would have been different. Everton weren't interested granted, but Swans' task would have been heavier. Plus, Sunlun might have actually tried to prove their point against Swans, after failing against us. I feel that we'd be out of the zone still if we'd won, but the took the ever familiar storyline instead.
Some embarrassing posts on this thread. Swansea under Clement have delivered the goods when it mattered, in the last two games we haven't. I doubt we will in the next 2 games as well, you can call Clement whatever you like but he's keeping Swansea up.
Lauded by some fawning turds in the media as a purist, steeped in the world class methods of Real, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, a worthy exponent of the Swansea Way. Then a few seconds later its all about Leon Britton renting out the 'Veg Field Golden Memories ' DVD to his bemused foreign team mates. And they play in Joma ffs.
Disagree. Despite the tension and huge disappointment involved, this forum has been very respectful towards Swansea as a whole. Even after last week, there was a fair play to Swansea thread. I'd have said that Clement looked like the 'entrepreneur type in Bell Enders' whatever had happened, as the observation wasn't complicit with results on the field. I do agree with you that we won't win our next two games though - it will all be confirmed tmw.
I'm not his strongest fan, but on this point you are spot on, and all our wins have come from including Leon Britton in the starting line up these last four games, Leon has been on the bench most of this season, and Clement has admitted he should have played him sooner, our damage was done when our new Yank owners brought in the inept Bob Bradley, that's where our season was undone............
