Am I the only one that is seeing Gradel and Howson being suspended as a possible good thing? All the players we would have drafted in to replace them (White, Sam, Nunez) are all hungry, talented players who throw their all into every performance. Sam and Nunez at least (I haven't seen enough of white) are just unhandleable at their best.

There's also that there's not a cat in hells chance the players are going to feel dejected and unmotivated by the defeat on saturday. They will feel it was an injustice and they were robbed by poor refereeing, and since we are Leeds after all, I'd bet 15 points that it will just make them angry and fired up.

For a Leeds fan, that's ****ing hilarious <laugh>

I'll go 1-1, Nunez should get a start for Leeds and I fancy him to score, right handful of a player. Cairney goal for City, he's looked in great form this season.

Nunez will start, no questions. With Howson out, he's the only option we've got to sit in the pocket. If we defend as well as we did against Boro and manage to keep 11 players on the pitch I can't see anything other than a Leeds win.

Although in response to Leeds-18's post, Dudgeon is a left-back and won't be doing any sweeping up (definitely nothing like staff at the Deep), and also, Hull is firmly a football city, as proved by average attendances at football compared to the rugby.

It's probably also worth mentioning that I've never had an interest in RL <ok>

Obviously you will have seen more of him than me, but Nunez seems to be a tricky little player - he certainly attained some useful experience at Scunny, and looks like he might have a big impact for you lads this season.

We've gone 20 odd away games having only lost one, so it will be difficult for you to beat us. City also play with a lot more confidence away, but I am worried about the young Leeds players coming into the team. 1-1 for me.

20 away unbeaten so the pressure is on. And yes, Nunez is a handful to say the least

We lost 3-0 at Brizzle City on the final day of last season, but we weren't really trying. Honest. <whistle>

Not really my mistake, this was a stat I was told by your fans, that I didn't care to check for accuracy.

I reckon it'll be 2-1 to leeds and a close game. we'll get fired up for it and as marko said before, nunez, sam and maybe white who might get a start will be fired up and hungry to work their way into the team. We will finally see nunez in his most influencial position and hopefully we'll be as tight at the back as we were against middlesborough (well when we had the same amount of players on the pitch)

To score the goals.... nunez and clayton

I reckon we'll bounce back for this one. As Marko said, the players (and fans) feel Saturday's result was an injustice and pair that with the fact we would be looking to prove ourselves anyway and I'm pretty confident we'll put in a dominant performance at least.

I think Howson missing will be a blessing as we will have to start with Nunez. Defence was far better on Saturday, Gradel missing will be a shame, I wonder if we get Keogh (or another striker) on loan in time if Grayson will switch mcCormack to the left.

Excellent away win for Hull will have done their confidence a world of good but I am going for a 2-1 win for Leeds, Tom Lees header and a Nunez wonder goal.
