While I'm the complete optimist I can't see us beating Palarse.. I can see us grabbing a draw though .. I can see Swansea setting up not to lose knowing last game we have to win and them just avoid defeat .. my issue is from memory I don't think we have ever won a Premier league game in May have we ? Would love for us to end that stat in fashion at Selhurst Park .. but even the optimist in me just doesn't see it happening. What I can see happening is us getting a result against Spurs .. but will it be too late ?
One for the conspiracy theorists. Moyes thinks Swansea would be a tougher competitor than us in the Championship so he throws the game. Edit: oops, wrong thread, never mind.
I think we're ****ed in all honesty. Sunderland not up for it today at all by the sounds of things and typical Pickford plays a blinder against us and screws up today according to r5l
Agree, knowing only a win is good enough will focus minds. If we can pile into 'em and get a couple of early goals, like the FA Cup final, who knows?
The PL, The FA and the match officials will be against us tmw (as per)... But The Sky will be rootin and a tootin for us to Michael Winner. We win and it sets up a great (for the neutral) final weekend for the telly visuals.
With that logic, we'd have won last week. As much as I'd love to be optimistic, can't see us getting anything tomorrow. Let's just cheer the lads on, loud and proud.
I don't think explicitly - but implicitly. We've lost the coin toss too many times - every week it seems.
