Inter is in terrible financial state, missed out on Europe, and has a muddy future...they might dream on getting him, but he could walk into a half-dozen better situations.
There's no "just been" there. They were taken over by a Chinese consortium who assumed -- and did not expunge -- a large amount of debt a year ago. They followed through on their promise of spending a lot of money, but went backwards, and there are serious questions about whether see they this as a long term investment.
Article in the Mail yesterday suggested that he wants a big pay rise to stay. Don't know where they get this stuff , but I like the idea that even Chelsea can get treated like this. He is bound to get a bonus and pay rise....just depends if another club will top it. He's got the EPL title....he might feel the only way is down now.
