You're right on this. Additionally, I wouldn't be too hard on our medics, as with the exception of Rose and Lamela, whose absences have been both protracted and confused, the only other significant injury in the past few months has been Winks and that one is clear enough. We have currently one of the lowest injury lists in the PL which is a testament to both player fitness and the infrastructure that supports them.
When Poch decides to quit football management he should be a candidate for UN Secretary General: his diplomacy levels are so impressive!
He's getting very good at saying as little as possible, but still seeming personable and ticking the right boxes. A few little anecdotes, a quip about his wife, talking up Sunday's game as being the best memory... it's all there, isn't it? The press get something, so they don't slaughter him, but they don't get anything that he doesn't want to give them.
Has a relative of his died every week this season? Let's face it, he hasn't played since they bought him. Too soon? Not respectful? I'll get me coat.
So again I don't like the line up. 1) Because it might be signalling the end for Walker at Spurs 2 ) Because we sorely miss Dembele in his role and the only player close to being able at present to replace him is injured ( Winks)
And because it looks like we've reverted back to 4231 which united will just sit back and lap up all day long.
