We just took the concept and bought her one of those stuffed mama white tiger and cub stuffed toys. Worked, as she too slept like a log after that
The kit I used is supposed to do 2 weeks in the barrel, a week in room temperature and then 1-2 months in somewhere cool and dark (Spurs' trophy cabinet?).

I just edited as I found the Coopers Pale Ale which I've bought before and it's quite nice. I did a San Miguel Recipe from a book so a mix of a kit and some hops and golden syrup instead of brewing sugar, it was nice when I tried it but that was from the tub, looking forward to trying i cold and fizzy now.
