I thought it held up very well...stayed dark didn't stray into silliness too often and not too much needless filler..
I'll probably watch another one tonight. Netflix deffo has the best TV series compared to Amazon. BCS House of Cards 13 Reasons are good examples.
I don't think Amazon are even close. BCS Daredevil Fargo 13 Reasons The Get Down House of Cards That's off the top of my head. All top quality, I don't watch any of the series on Amazon as they are bang average. My opinion only I suppose though.
I think season 2 was better than season 1. Plot is more focused and less bouncing around all over the place. I have to wait a year because it won't be available for a year. Season 2 was only released about a month ago.
No i agree but they are adding content and improving. 6 months ago I'd agree with you for sure. I'm just saving they are now getting the original content flowing better over here. Taken was a solid 6/10 and the man in high castle 7/10 I've not watched others yet too much but amazon prime shipping helps make it a deal... oh and 2.99 per month too Netflix is far along the original content path, at least 2 years further on but amazon is rich and will imo produce a lot more as we go.
It's also about what you want, Amazon seem to be looking at switch your brain off and enjoy, Netflix is more thought provoking stuff. That's in general for both.
could be.... I've not got time to dig into some of their new content right now but did you taken and that in effect was the usual crime type us shows that would be what you describe with a bit of shooting of people.. just a little upped in the level compared to bland us tv networks crime. man in high castle is a bit more than that I would say compared to house of cards say or BCS theres nothing near it. As i said it was awful here 6 months ago but content in expanding and with it variety. I 2 years time i think they will be at each others throats. they have too much money not to be.
Hulu is a much better comparison to Netflix. They have a better selection than Amazon and more originals. The wife and I like "The path" which is a drama about a fictitious religious cult staring the guy who played Jessie Pinkman. He's a really good actor very different role than Breaking Bad, he's the sensible down to earth father of a family who figures out the religion is a sham and wants to leave. Hulu also have a bunch of British originals. (Really BBC and ITV shows that Hulu want to claim credit for... Netflix does the same thing over here)
Yeah its content. Imo amazon have only started. Netflix is quite mature and it shows. But as i said 6 months ago id have deleted it after grand tour was over but i think i will keep it a little longer. I got a deal though... i dont think id pay full this year just for thats there conpared to full price netflix.
I use Amazon as my new movie rental service as I can't be arsed searching around for torrenty or streamy type thing... Bought a **** load of my personal classics on it...almost all hd... Now there is where Netflix is beating Amazon hands down...a shed load more 4k content.
