You'll have to qualify to get into a group, so don't put the cart before the horse :)

True, but I think you'll manage that tbh.

I can see West Ham not being overly arsed on Sunday, after their Cup final against Spuds

They are fifteenth but can only get 3 more points from the final (2match and 1 bonus) so can't move any higher.

Also champions go into pot1 so they are currently the last of the pot2 seeds (assuming dortmund and sevilla qualify)

In the nightmare scenario of Arsenal finishing 4th instead of Pool and winning their playoff along with sevilla, Utd will be in pot3

One thought about the Europa final. Utd will be desperate to win as it is a qualification spot for the champions league. Whereas Ajax will likely see it as major European success. Taking any biased aside when it comes to hoping utd, I can't help but hope Ajax win to whom it will mean a lot more.

Let's be honest. We don't want them to win anything and we don't have to justify it with rational reasons ;) And they won't. Ajax will be more rested and the mancs will have a weakened defence without Bailly.

Yeah, but at the same time its a competition we weren't in and their reward for winning it has no effect on us, so I'm not overly bothered.

Dont think that's right. Winner will go directly into groups if the CL winner qualifies for the group stages via their league placement. As both Juve and real will qualify for group stage via league, winners of Europa take the group place the winners of CL usually get. Same happened to Sevilla last year

Mourinho has been bleating on about it for a while and of course it's annoying but i think most managers bitch about it when its against them.

Klopps was bleating about it last year in the europy when you had to play swansea and every year he bleats about it during winter.

But how rested will Man Utd's officials be?

Pretty sure Klopp didn't accuse anyone of committing a crime against humanity like Mourinho did though

    Can't argue against that :).

On another note though, the Media do let Klopp off lightly. He's come out with things recently that make him sound incredibly bitter and theres barely a mention. If it was Wenger you know he'd have been laughed at all over the news:

That's some temerity to complain about Southampton's stifling tactics. This is something Mourinho and Wenger would be proud of to moan about another team defending.

    EL final 50,000 seats

    9,500 for Man Utd

Our final allocation was a total #joke and UEFA have listened to that criticism and responded by cutting the fan allocation from 30% per club to 20% <doh>

Just fairly calling Southampton out as a cowardly unprofessional club that pick and choose when to put in some effort

Fifa is such a joke. How can a final have more than over half the allocation given to people who aren't the fans XD.

    ^bitter as **** <laugh>

Wouldn't it be more professional of Klopp to try and actually influence the game rather than constantly berate the 4th officials and/or throw water bottles around?

I don't think he should have called the Saints like that. He has no evidence and I agree with bobby that it makes him look bitter. All clubs are tighter away and more open at home. Their crowds make them attack matches more.

I am sure they would have been defensive at the Emirates too.

    Was supposed to add...

I do like Klopp but he doesn't half act the utter **** a lot of the time and get a free ride in the media. Imagine if it was Jose? Not to mention the reaction on here...
